1) School picture days will be Tuesday, August 31st, and Wednesday, September 1st, in the JPT auditorium. Picture packages are available for purchase. Order forms will be sent home during the first week of school. If you have any questions, you can contact Miss Oberlander at the school.

2) Yearbooks will be sold in the cafeteria during all three lunches from Monday, September 13th-Thursday, September 16th, for $75. Cash or check is acceptable, and all checks need to be made out to JPT. Don't forget that you can order your Yearbook online also!

3) Senior ads will be sold after school from 3 P.M.-5 P.M. in school cafeteria from Monday, September 13th- Thursday, September 16th. Mailers with information about senior ads were sent out in June. If you have any questions, contact Miss Oberlander at the school.

Senior Pictures:
Senior pictures should be taken by September 8th. If you do not have an appointment please call J.P. Portraits at 954-731-6746.

Due to Class Size Reduction law, students may need to be moved between teachers after the start of school to ensure compliance with the required student limits. These limits are 18 students for Pre-Kindergarten to grade 3, 22 students for grades 4 to 8, and 25 students for grades 9 to 12 in core classes. Please know that students' needs will continue to be met through proper instruction and services. Additional information on core classes or anything else related to Class Size Reduction is available on the Class Size Reduction website at http://www.broward.k12.fl.us/classsize/

Florida’s implementation of the state’s class size amendment remains an important topic for parents and communities throughout the state.  Recently, the Florida Legislature passed a proposed amendment to Florida’s existing class size regulations allowing for flexibility in the implementation of class size at the local level.  Whether or not the state is to adopt this proposed language must now be decided by Florida’s voters in the upcoming fall elections. 

As the state agency responsible for monitoring the implementation of class size in Florida, the Department of Education is committed to assisting every Floridian understand the history of class size and its impact in our state.  For this reason, the Department has created a Class Size Resource web page which can be found at http://www.fldoe.org/ClassSize
